Concluding Thoughts
Hello reader, Overall, I found it incredibly difficult to stay off social media. I failed miserably a couple of times. I would say that I failed about 5+ times a day, however, I always snapped out of it after likek 30 seconds. There were a couple different things I noticed over the course of the fast. One was that I don't make as efficient use of my time as I would like to. I found myself doing more productive and helpful things during the fast, that I usually would of spent time on social media instead. I also realized how much social media dominated my communication with my friends. For a little while during the fast I felt as if I was disconnected from my friends, as I wasn't using Instagram to communicate with them anymore. However, I started just texting them or calling them or even going to where they were on campus, which felt a lot better than just sending each other memes.
